- froaway4job 5y agoLuckily none of my jobs have forced me to install something like that. In general, SWE roles in the US don't require that much micro management. I would probably leave and find a new job if that was the case.
- db48x 5y agoSame here. I’ve worked remotely for more than 20 years, and would never put up with anything like that.
- Nextgrid 5y agoThis is in jest but note that we already have USB mouse-jugglers which simulate mouse movements to game the presence indicators in shitty enterprise communication software.
