- teeray 5y agoI so do wish that iOS had multiple workspaces for applications for just this reason.
- peapicker 5y agoI still wouldn’t be a big enough sucker to trust that.
- teeray 5y agoI trust Apple to build sandboxes correctly. If the vendor’s sandbox is hermetic, then it shouldn’t matter what the corpware does within it.
- yladiz 5y agoIsn’t it simpler just to tell your employer to give you a separate phone for work purposes if needed?
- teeray 5y agoCurrently yes, it is. This is terrible for the environment though when it is entirely possible to emulate a “work phone” in software. Plus, why do I want to physically carry two phones?
- duxup 5y agoYears ago a employer asked I install some monitoring software that also allowed access to work resources on my personal phone. I politely, and clearly declined. I told them I’d be happy to use a device they provided for work but beyond that it was my personal phone and I wasn’t going to blur the boundaries of personal property / information and work resources, or risk muddying the legal waters if for reason a legal issue came up. They politely informed me they wouldn’t provide a device, but also understood my reasons and I wasn’t required to install the software. Good outcome IMO.

- dredmorbius 5y agoI'm sure this will go over swimmingly. In recent years, Credit Suisse was embroiled in a corporate espionage scandal, with two cases of intrusive surveillance by the bank against departing senior employees. (From TFA.)
- itzprime 5y agoThere is a joke that no financial scandal is proper without the involvement of Credit Suisse. Seems they also want a pie of those privacy and security scandals.
- raxxorrax 5y agoScandal doesn't really fit here in my opinion. I think it is a highly criminal organization. Scandal somehow fails to explain the significant criminal energy which certainly is not restricted to some of their customers.
