  I would consider why someone is doing something. Try to put yourself in their shoes. Would you post what time you worked out everyday? Would you post how many hours you worked today? Would you post how many calories you ate today? There is a reason why this isn't a common way for people to use the internet.

    It's a marketing thing, like a lot of social media content. He's just trying to build a personal brand to promote his consulting business and clothing line. Nothing wrong with that.
