Auto executives expect EVs will own half of U.S., China markets by 2030
- sitkack 5y agoAuto execs are the ones I go to for future predictions /s. The change will be larger and occur much sooner, the 2030 date is a cop out. I think half of new car sales in the US will be EV by 2025, possibly sooner. - defaultprimate 5y agoI highly doubt it. The strain that would be placed on power plants and grids that will come with EV proliferation is not discussed enough. It's going to require significant, costly, and time consuming infrastructure upgrades.
