Running a secure and reliable server is not trivial. Getting one up and running is easy, sure. Keeping it that way with 4 nines of reliability is anything but. Scaling past that one sever is it’s own task.
Talking about a cluster being elementary is frankly absurd.
I think you might be confusing “got it working!” with “hardened in production.“
- bsenftner 5y agoIt is not trivial, but it is not rocket science either. And as far as that goes, rocket science is not that hard either. It is a skill set that is very much worth developing, which pays itself back exponentially.
