Why Great Employees Leave “Great Cultures”
- raxxorrax 5y agoI think the major point is how culture is prescriptive in large organisations. I don't know a single person with free will (oh oh) that feels well in any contemporary corporate culture. Well enough maybe. Everyone compromises if such negatives are worth the positives regarding possibilities you have in larger corporations and has certain (low) expectations on culture here. In smaller companies you are far more part of a culture as you are part of defining it. I don't think any HR strategy can change this to be honest. It will always be clinical and makes the machine work and that is worthwhile in many cases. But you don't work there for culture, you hope to get in a high enough position to be exempt from it to the largest possible degree.
