Reddit to convert karma points to Ethereum tokens and onboard 500M new users
- smt88 5y agoThe only reason to do this, as far as I can tell, is to allow the transfer of karma between accounts. That means karma is effectively for sale, and all the shady karma-farming on reddit will be significantly worse. I honestly can't think of a worse idea for user engagement, but maybe they won't make karma transferrable and this is just PR.
