I enjoy oat milk but wonder about the production process and how healthy it is long-term. For example the one I drink contains canola oil.

  Where are you based? You should be able to find some oil free alternatives

    True. I'm in Switzerland. I did find one with sunflower oil but haven't looked into it further.

  You can make you own: soak, mix water and oats in blender, strain
