- ninjinxo 5y agoDoesn't even come close to following ISO3103 standards, this hot-water study is just a lot of hot-air.
- dustintrex 5y agoI wonder what kind of green tea they used? There are huge differences in not just taste but processing between the various Chinese and Japanese styles.

- mdp2021 5y ago«Consumption» > Taken together, our data as well as the findings recently reported by others [46,47,48] indicate that consumption of green tea or use of its active ingredient EGCG is beneficial for preventing or reducing SARS-CoV-2 transmission and infection. However, clinical significance and application of ours and the reported in vitro findings need to be validated in future investigations, particularly in clinical studies of the anti-SARS-CoV-2 effects of EGCG as a viral entry inhibitor. Nonetheless, given its low toxicity, anti-inflammation, antioxidant, and anti-SARS-CoV-2 variant properties, use of GTB or EGCG is likely to minimize the SARS-CoV-2 spread, ameliorate symptoms and disease severity. -- Note: publication: 30 Aug 2021.
