The lack of technical information on the site is staggering. Who will put that amount of cash with no clear specs shown right off the start? Or am I missing a button or section because I’m browsing from an ipad? Getting that more often these days.

FWIW there's another Kickstarter with a DES screen tablet here which may be better technically: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/topjoy/topjoy-butterfly-pocket-sized-true-color-des-screen-e-reader https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/topjoy/topjoy-butterfly... That has a fair bit more details. I submitted the Reinkstone one since it had a photo of a big color image on the screen.

Honestly I don't find it that overpriced considering that it's a niche product, I expected something closer to $1000. I agree that they're light on the technical data though. I don't really have a use for this particular product but I'm excited for any development in e-paper technology. I still hope that in the not-so-far future I'll be able to program on a decently-sized, decently-fast, decently-priced eink display.
