From a management and information security perspective this seems like an extremely stupid idea. Depends on the kind of data of course.
- azalemeth 5y agoI presume it's all encrypted large data stores anyway – otherwise rowhammer, spectre, meltdown and friends would be really rather substantial. Moreover, I just don't understand why. If you're going to spend half a billion on an AWS bill, you can probably afford to run a datacentre locally (and use the waste heat to warm British homes at least!)
