I agree. Absolutionistic ethics, of which I am a proponent of, would largely throw out “the paradox of tolerance”. Cancel culture serves to highlight the inevitable orthodoxies that arise from proponents of “the paradox of tolerance”. Ultimately people need to ask themselves, “By what standard?”
