Yeah horses for courses I guess. I always try to use the cross-platform solution whenever I can but not everyone seems to care about that and are seemingly fine about being locked in.
- klodolph 5y agoI mean, it's not really "locked-in". You can export your passwords from Keychain easily enough (as CSV, if you'd like).
- copperx 5y agoI don't know if this is still true, but when I last used the native solution for saving cards and it always asked for the three digit code in the back of the card, which made it useless for convenience. I still had to look for my wallet. 1password and LastPass are smarter in that regard. The third party solutions are much better regarding edge cases.
