I don't think Tunesia was that much affected by the Arab spring. It is a relatively modern country. Still rife with corruption though at least from what I heard from people having family there. Colleague of mine is from there and was a policeman until he emigrated. Don't smoke a joint in Tunesia, tourists also have to go to prison for that, 30 years isn't uncommon.
