Show HN: Labelmaker – Generate PDF from HTML Templates with Scripting
- solarkraft 5y agoLooks cool! Personally I quite like gLabels, which may be a bit less flexible, but also looks a bit easier to use. [0]: https://help.gnome.org/users/glabels/stable/ https://help.gnome.org/users/glabels/stable/
- sandreas 5y agoCool, did not know about this. Thank you. You're also completely right about the ease of use and pretty likely the size of the application (labelmaker is >100MB because of the big variety of fonts in the lib mpdf). I designed labelmaker for my daugthers RFID Jukebox (linked in the docs). So it is made to work "automatically" - e.g. scanning a media directory (e.g. mp3, m4b) and build RFID stickers based on one template design but with different covers and titles. It can also load CSV data or completely custom content via data provider PHP Script. Is gLabels capable of that? I did not find a hint in the docs to provide dynamic data.
