This lawsuit isn’t as big of a deal as the tweet thread makes it out to be. This Jason dude is just being bombastic to get more Twitter reach. Basically some investors (pension funds) are suing Facebook over the whole Cambridge analytica scandal again. Companies get sued all the time by shareholders whenever there’s a scandal because it usually involves a risk to the business that wasn’t disclosed to shareholders. As Matt Levine likes to say “everything is securities fraud.” This is not a government anti-trust suit.
