This is quite simply not true, Microsoft is a monopolist.
> $10 security key
You're implying this is somehow little, even though spending $10 to comply with another weird demand from yet another US corp that feels I have to spend or compromise myself to conform to their demands is too much. Any amount of money is too much, and any amount of compromise is too.
- nisegami 5y ago>any amount of compromise is too I would argue you _are_ compromising. You're accepting the drawbacks of passwords in exchange for not having to use any of the alternatives.
- krageon 5y agoAnything that is free choice is fine. Something Microsoft mandates because they believe they should dictate how the world works is not.
- md_ 5y agoHow is this not free choice? Are you saying Microsoft shouldn't be able to impose mandates to use their online service? Genuinely curious.
