- nradov 5y agoIt's ironic how we have too much CO2, and yet not enough.
- usefulcat 5y agoNot unlike ozone..
- r00fus 5y agoA side effect of energy shortages? (CO2 is a byproduct of fertilizer production using natgas which has spiked in price across the EU) Or is it due to brexit cutting UK off from the EU?
- rad_gruchalski 5y agoIt appears to be caused by the former and compounded by the latter.

- literallyaduck 5y agoPaywalled, but can't they use nitrogen instead. I like the bubbles better with nitrogen.
- wiml 5y agoNitrogen merely dissolves in water; CO2 forms carbonic acid, which (a) alters the flavor and (b) lets you cram more in at a lower pressure. Swapping it out would give you a fairly different drink.
- literallyaduck 5y agohttps://hlbeverage.com/nitro_soda/ https://hlbeverage.com/nitro_soda/ You could lower the sweeteners, but some work would be involved if you wanted a similar flavor.
- LinuxBender 5y agoI'm sure I am in the minority and this is just pure fantasy, but I would love to see all the high fructose corn syrup drinks vanish. Should that occur it should be obvious on the T2D stats within a few years.
