The FBI agents who authorized this should be fired. This thing is a complete joke.
- ldiracdelta 5y agoCivil Asset Forfeiture is the law of the land, currently. It isn't Constitutionally valid.
- shkkmo 5y agoThe best the supreme court has managed to say about it is that some instances could violate the eigth ammendment. Thr courts have been pretty careful to prevent setting any real precedents that wouod limit these laws.
- tsimionescu 5y agoFired?? They should be prosecuted for theft.
- unyttigfjelltol 5y agoCourt sanctions for speculative and insubstantial arguments would be a good start. Blame rests on the judge(s) who apparently is/are tolerating the FBI's evidence-lite dragnet.
- wearywanderer 5y agoThey should be imprisoned for theft and allowed to appeal their summary sentence later. Guilty until proven innocent is the way they like to play things, so give them a taste of their own medicine.
