As a student how do I host a back end project without ruining myself?
I'm a college student with a very limited budget but it would be nice to host a backend project online so that I can link it in my resume.
How can I achieve this without being scared of having unexpected bills?
- nightfly 5y agoHost it somewhere like Digital Ocean. Flat monthly fee, no unexpected bills.
- joelbondurant 5y agoDigital Ocean, AWS will always optimize for maximum entropy in billing surprise.
- verdverm 5y agoAWS and GCP have a free tier which could cover this on a small VM. GitHub has a student package that includes some credits for cloud iirc.
