It directly and vividly contradicts Biden's statement that anyone would need F-15s and nuclear weapons to defeat the US. That is the point. The Taliban didn't need them. Neither did the Viet Cong for that matter.
"It's ok if we take away your guns because they don't matter anyway when it comes to protecting yourself from the government" is contradictory to reality. This has nothing to do with characterizing any failure as partisan unless you mean Biden's failure to prove his statement correct.
- Dylan16807 5y agoThe US government is not threatened by the Taliban, nor is the US in general. You're conflating very differing kinds of fight.
- imgabe 5y agoNot really. What do you think a rebellion in the US would look like? Probably a lot like fighting dispersed groups of militants… like the Taliban They’re not going to be having dogfights in F-15s or nuking Chicago so those capabilities are not really helpful.
