Science is in large part also about story telling, especially in some areas. This is a good story, even if the details make it much less spectacular. They also produced very nice visualisations, which blew up on Twitter. All of these things are something to learn from as a scientist.
- dekhn 5y agoThe lesson is that while people say they make data-driven decisions, scientists like everybody else just goes for the narrative with the prettiest picture that also looks like what people think is already true.
