In Japan, the chance of working for a Yakuza front company are extremely high, unless it's really a multi-billion big corporation, organised crime is involved everywhere.
- Aeolun 5y agoThis one was a US company. Since I knew everyone involved, I’m fairly certain we weren’t a front for the Yakuza. It was fun though, had lots of freedom and could do anything I thought necessary.
- suction 5y agoAh, I see. Was it truly a subsidy of an US company, or one of those "name and brand" licensing things they do in Japan and China?
- Aeolun 5y agoIt was truly a US company (well, Japanese subsidiary of one). It’s total size was 8 employees across the entire world, so I had a fairly complete view ;)
