That people will knowingly engage in a murder conspiracy, then support it with a rear-guard action to enhance ... their career. None of us are morally above reproach. Sure. But we all feel like we draw the line somewhere and say, yep, too far, won't do it. Killing people, knowingly committing war crimes, covering it up, supporting it, enacting revenge on those who can't play along and want it stopped? That's not the way I think of American citizens. How has it happened? Is it fixable? It must be, surely, right..?
