You can do your own research by starting with some biology textbooks and then progressing to immunology, the history of medical science, etc. Then you can read a bunch of papers on mRNA vaccines and learn exactly how they work. There is a ton of international clinical data available too, which at least means you don’t have to trust just one government. Note that nowhere did I mention YouTube videos, celebrities, or talk radio blowhards.
