Startup Idea Feedback: Chckup – Expedia for Vet Clinics
I have a new startup and we're launching the prototype on August 2. I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the current concept and execution (see website chckup.app for more info)
I'm open to learning as much as possible and getting as much feedback as possible. Would love to speak with people more who are interested.
Thanks Everyone!

- d--b 5y agoWhy are you marketing this as “Expedia” for vets instead of zocdoc for vets?
- chckup 5y agoIt could be because I am not the targeted audience, but I haven't heard of Zocdoc until I just googled it. When we started surveying people on whether or not they would use this, not a single person mentioned anything about Zocdoc. In short, I think more people know what Expedia is than Zocdoc, so that's why
- tacostakohashi 5y ago- Prevent the need to call multiple Vet Clinics just to make sure you aren't getting screwed Is being "screwed" by vets a problem? I've heard of people being screwed by car dealerships, mechanics, real estate agents, landlords, and building contractors. Vets, on the other hand, tend to have postgraduate degrees, professional bodies, licensing, and better things to do than screwing clients. - Easily allow you to compare Vet Clinics all over the world based on Price, Location, and the Experiences of other People (Reviews) I might be interested in making this comparison within my city, or a radius of a half-hour driving distance, but the rest of the world is of little interest. - Allow (and Encourage) Users to easily post their receipts so all info is constantly up to date I wouldn't be interested in sharing personal financial details with the wider world. - Instantly book appointments with Vet Clinics This could be useful, and there's some value here if zocdoc is anything to go by. I'm happy enough to use my telephone for this. Maybe I'm not the target audience for this service.
