I'm surprised no one has mentioned lock in. It is very difficult to swap out your db if all your business logic is weaved into it.

- wilsonfiifi 5y agoI think it’s more common to switch application language rather than the Database. I’m not implying that it’s not done but I suspect it occurs less often. Unless you’re going from SQL to NoSQL or vice versa.
