Probably people would die from cancers.
- lumost 5y agoYoung organisms seemingly carry defenses against cancers that atrophy with age. There is no cross species correlation which says that cancer is inevitable.
- sinenomine 5y agoNot only that, there is a well-known https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peto%27s_paradox https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peto%27s_paradox highlighting that per-cell cancer rate has to drop to support long lifespans of large animals with huge amount of cells, and indeed it does.
