Few protests are ignored when the participants carry antitank missiles and AKs, and presumably a goal of the US occupation was to prevent "civilians" from bearing arms. Maybe a cultural victory...
- nradov 5y agoThe US occupation forces never tried to confiscate regular small arms from non-combatant civilians.
- lumberingjack 5y agoMost of the afghanies and Iraqis that I saw that were farmers were armed to the teeth. I have photos of one farmer I talked to every day the guy protected his sheep with a full automatic AK.
