We should be so lucky that people looking to harm others would be using fully automatic weapons. Unless they train with it significantly chances are they’ll end up doing less damage. The one exception I can think of would be something like that Vegas shooting, where it’s a mob of people and the shooter is in what’s effectively a bunker.
