What if the government purposely targeted relatively high inflation by printing money (and distributing it to all as a UBI). Inflation seems like a pretty efficient wealth tax… and if the money is distributed fairly as a UBI that would cancel out the benefits that the wealthy have vs regular people to protect against inflation.
