Maybe we need something like SMART but for CPU cores?
- gbrown_ 5y agoWe have machine-check exceptions, the purpose of this paper is to draw attention to erroneous behavior that is silent.
- mywittyname 5y agoA lot of these errors are subtle, making it incredibly difficult to generate a test suite to find them.
- stevewodil 5y agoBut when they occur, something could increment a counter that tracks the error rate like hard drives do for SMART
