Yeah, been there, done that. I turned down my other offers and then the one I accepted cancelled on me the night before my first day of work. I ran out of money and had to take a loan from a friend. I ended up working for them later anyway. No point holding a grudge.

It’s not about holding a grudge, it’s a loss of trust. If an employer did this to me, I wouldn’t trust them to not fuck me over in other ways as an employee.

  I already don't trust my employer not to fuck me over if it benefits them. So not much changes.
