So what happens with that leasing contract when you sell your car?
- tonyedgecombe 5y agoYou can't sell the whole car because the battery doesn't belong to you. The new owner has to take on the lease agreement or buy it out. In reality Renault seem to be moving away from that model.
- imtringued 5y agoYou will have to contact Renault to transfer the lease. Yes, you can't sell your car without permission from the manufacturer.
- rswail 5y agoIt sounds like you can sell the car, but not the battery, because you never owned the battery, you leased it.
