Make our personal data work for us, not against us, after the pandemic
- raxxorrax 5y ago"[...] how much privacy people would be willing to relinquish in an epidemic" In my case that would be none. The EU is currently planning vaccination passports. I think I skip this holiday season to evade that. "which is hard to separate from the question of whether and how to regulate social media." "supranational “digital agency” monitors" Won't work anyway. "Countries with public healthcare systems, like the UK, are sitting on an untapped goldmine in the form of patient records." The Guardian makes cases for private healthcare that Tories never could. Private services have similar problems of course, but I would prefer that to mandatory public health care, if my government decides to sell the data.
