That’s analogous to using React on the backend. Kind of a non sequitur
- chii 5y agono - react is a library, and in fact people do use react on the backend (for server side rendering). we are talking about tech stack - most broadly the language (and compiler). GWT is a compiler from java to javascript. it cannot be compared to react (even tho GWT has a front-end UI component - but that's optional in GWT).
- catlifeonmars 5y agoOh that’s interesting. I’ve only ever known about GWT as a view renderer.
