- jay_kyburz 5y agoI expect it will be years. Australia's vacation program is going very slowly. I'm also led to believe that the vaccine doesn't prevent you from carrying the disease, it just reduces your symptoms making it less deadly. We are seeing reports now of vaccinated people getting positive test results.
