This is why you should use wired Ethernet and not Wi-Fi at home.
- boomboomsubban 5y agoAnd just run ethernet to USB adapter cables to every place you use your phone? The author says they wire what they can, but they want WiFi for the laptop and phone.
- devit 5y agoThe phone can use the cellular network when not docked and usually both laptop and phone are only used/docked in 1-3 different places (desk, bed, some other place).
- boomboomsubban 5y agoThat would likely require a much more expensive data plan, and many people like to be more mobile with their laptop.
- benhurmarcel 5y agoI wire every device I can, but I still end up with more devices on wifi. Just the phones and tablets outnumber the computers and TV already.
