You do need to be able to build from IDE when you set breakpoints to debug.
- Hackbraten 6y agoYour IDE should be able to connect to any JVM that has been launched with the proper VM arguments. We occasionally do remote debugging at work. It’s just a matter of copy/pasting the correct JVM incantation into the IDE.
