- Iv 6y agoMy freelance life is a constant oscillation between impostor and DK. The trick is to match the phases when I think I am the new Da Vinci with the phase when I negotiate my rates and the phases where I think I am barely good enough to work at a sandwich shop with the actual dev. Not the greatest for mental health, though. Now I am glad that I am working with very competent but also nice and supportive colleagues. It really is a blast to be able to have some bad days without feeling you should quit and buy a farm in the Larzac instead.
