Working 2 hours a day when nobody is bothering you and you have peace of mind to concentrate is tremendously valuable. Additionally doing that for 23 years, you can get done a lot of work.

  even 1 hr of productive, quiet concentration is better than 2 or 3 hrs of interrupted time. By interrupted time, i mean time that you _could_ be interrupted, not that you were interrupted.
