- tonyedgecombe 6y agoThe carbon footprint of an iPhone is about 82 kg of CO2-e over its lifetime. The carbon footprint of a car over ten years is about 25,000 CO2-e. I applaud Apple for its efforts but it's obvious where we need to start.
- chii 6y agothey would have saved negative money. Because the iphone 12 sales were positive, profitable.

- captainredbeard 6y agoNothing would be saved. Competitors would develop new products, win the market, and be back in the same place. Magic thinking isn't very useful.
