Except the brand damage from ruining the "pure" experience that doesn't come preloaded with a bunch of 3rd party apps...
- geon 6y agoEspecially if it would still require a subscription. I hate that kind of bloatware oems insists to fill up windows installs with.
- scintill76 6y agoMaybe a free license included with the OS/hardware combo then; installing is user-initiated.
- smoldesu 6y agoIt already comes with Apple TV preloaded, whether you like it or not. Apple isn't adverse to frontloading you with subscription models, as long as it's a Premium™ experience.
- filoleg 6y ago>It already comes with Apple TV preloaded The parent comment said "a bunch of 3rd party apps", and Apple TV is clearly not a third party app.
- zepto 6y agoThe TV app doesn’t require a subscription to any particular service.
- zapzupnz 6y agoIndeed. Just in case people weren't aware, the TV app is where you can purchase movies and TV shows from iTunes, or watch your own video content if you get it into the library.
- dpkonofa 6y agoHow is the Apple TV app related to the comment? There's no subscription needed to use the app and it isn't tied to one service.
