FBI Confirms Report of UFO over New Mexico
- EA 6y agoMore like the FBI is aware that American Airlines has confirmed that one of their pilots made a voice report of something he could not identify.
- framilisandro 6y agoNo, he actually saw "a long cylindrical object" flying over his plane during a flight from Ohio to Arizona on Sunday
- framilisandro 6y agonow, everything is blur https://jigsawpuzzle.io/ https://jigsawpuzzle.io/
- doggodaddo78 6y agoPopular Mechanics has been sensationalizing UFOs for at least 35 years. The second most recent example is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popular_Mechanics#Criticisms https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popular_Mechanics#Criticisms
- jjcon 6y agoWas anything they said here particularly sensational? They didn’t even mention the A word (aliens), just pretty much stated what happened.
- doggodaddo78 6y agoYes, they used to be more conspiracy theory- and fantastical-oriented years ago. In this case, they're still playing fast-and-loose with their interpretation of "journalism." The FBI didn't "confirm" anything. A pilot said he saw something cylindrical fly over and reported it to ATC. That's about all there is to this event. There supposedly were other similar reports of unidentified flying objects tracking airliners around the Pacific Northwest. It makes one wonder if it's an anti-conspiracy theorist trolling secret society of civilian and military pilots having a good laugh. The odds of some "miracle" domestic or foreign tech, or ET explorer robots are vanishingly small.
- ilaksh 6y agoThey said it looked like a cruise missile. Aren't there military bases out there? So it probably was an experimental missile or drone or something similar. But we don't want to publicize secret projects so we are supposed to pretend it's aliens. Why are people so gullible?
- ALittleLight 6y agoShould they be flying experimental aircraft, let alone missiles, that close to civilian craft? Isn't there solve unused airspace in the desert?
- ilaksh 6y agoOf course they shouldn't. Only reason I can think is that they were testing the ability to get close to an aircraft. But it doesn't make sense really. But whatever the reason, the idea that people buy the UFO thing when it's such an obvious cover story is incredible.
