Apple could make everyone happy tomorrow vis-a-vis IAPs by charging standard credit card processing fees (~2-3%)instead of 30% while still protecting your payment info from app developers.
- isodev 6y agoThe App Store is also a distribution channel. The 15% seems like a lot but I would have to pay, way, way more to achieve the same level of presence elsewhere (without nasty tracking ads).
