the l3 cache wasn't doubled, the amount any 1 core can access at once was doubled. However that also came with a small latency penalty.

the l3 cache wasn't doubled, the amount any 1 core can access at once was doubled. However that also came with a small latency penalty.
- SaltySolomon 6y agoYes the l3 chache was doubled, on mobile it was only 8 MB total (split 4+4) now it is 16 MB shared by all cores.
