  To be perfectly honest, I have never done the experiments to prove that electricity works the way that scientists, engineers, or even bureaucrats claim it will. And yet, when I flick a switch, lo and behold, there is light That’s a pretty fucking good religion.

    Hum... You summarized it very well, and I just can not agree with that idea. Flicking a switch is a very powerful and revealing experiment.
