Would it run SteamVR games at 20 fps and decent resolution I wonder?

  ASUS has the Zypherus which pairs up one of these with a mobile 3080 so ... it should play them at 90 FPS which is fine for a VR headset.

  You're almost certainly going to find this paired with something like an RTX 3060 maxQ in a bunch of laptops (similar to last year's Zephyrus G14) which would be a much better option for SteamVR or any gaming. VR at 20 fps is going to be nauseating to say the least. Reprojection helps, but not that much. For example Oculus won't let your game into the store at all unless the minimum spec system can sustain 45 FPS, and the recommended must be 90 FPS.

    playing neanderthal or gaia project solo in tabletop simulator.. 20 fps is the bare minimum I can imagine myself playing it with
