I am probably in the minority here on HN and I'd like you to pay attention to this part from TFA: "But the team found it was also much easier for people with more money to take extra safety measures." I am vulnerable due to pre-existing conditions. Currently my partner works retail-it is open and the workers are not considered essential/front line and will be in the last group to get vaccinated-because we need money of course. We live in a studio together, I'm afraid one or both of us may not make it through this pandemic. Every day we do everything we can, but all it can take is one slip. I am only one of many who share a similar story in the US and I believe it needs way more attention.
