Note "SubscriberLink" and "The following subscription-only content has been made available to you by an LWN subscriber."
You are likely not supposed to post it to HN
- detaro 6y agohttps://lwn.net/op/FAQ.lwn https://lwn.net/op/FAQ.lwn says > Where is it appropriate to post a subscriber link? > Almost anywhere. Private mail, messages to project mailing lists, and blog entries are all appropriate. As long as people do not use subscriber links as a way to defeat our attempts to gain subscribers, we are happy to see them shared.
- matkoniecz 6y agoThanks! I was unaware about such approach, thanks for clarification! "subscription-only content" confused me and I failed to parse "has been made available to you by an LWN subscriber". It is the first time when I see such approach explicitly encouraged and I really like it. Hopefully it is going well for LWN.
